TheHive, in combination with Cortex, is the world’s leading security incident response and active response platform. StrangeBee is the company founded by three creators of TheHive Project to provide its large user base with deep expertise and a unique know-how, while continuously developing these highly popular products as well as their Ecosystem.

It all started in 2014 with three cybersecurity experts working at a major financial institution! we were part of the Computer Security Incident Response team (CSIRT). As any large organization, this institution has experienced a massive and continuous increase of the number of security events in the recent years.

We initially struggled to find efficient tools to manage and process all those security events. Given that the speed of detection and the response time are crucial, and sometimes vital, to the organization, we’ve made the decision to create a dedicated solution: TheHive.

It’s a unique platform, as it has been created and actively enriched by its own users on a daily basis. Over time, TheHive and Cortex, its sidekick since 2016, established themselves as reference solutions used by organizations worldwide.
